The mask had no discernible taste, and the fact that it's a gel rather than cloth soaked in lotion means that no liquid could get into my mouth.

Not much else happened, nor did I feel like my lips or the skin around them was smoother or more moisturized after use. There was a cooling sensation that developed after a couple of minutes, and that was about it. I probably left it on for about 15 minutes.
